Alberta Deans of Business Case Competition 2021
RDC is pleased to host this annual competition in March 2021. Students enrolled in business programs from across Alberta's post-secondary institutions are registered participate in this virtual event.
Teams will analyze the same case during the competition. Students are provided with a case,
selected by a sub‐committee of the Alberta Deans of Business. Students will work virtually as a team to analyze the case and use collaborative software to present strategic solutions and recommendations in the form of a recorded screencast to a panel of judges selected from the business community.

Exploring Entrepreneurship: From starting it, to supporting it, and to running it! Join us to see if entrepreneurship is a fit for you.
The Donald School of Business is pleased present this panel in conjunction with The City of Red Deer. We will welcome the following presenters:
- Scotiabank - Small Business Team
- Business Link - April Massie; Indigenous Business Strategist
- Cilantro & Chive - Rieley Kay; Owner
- Central Alberta Community Futures - Kelly Kierluk; General Manager
These panelists will speak about the challenges and benefits of being an entrepreneur in today's world and bring a wide area of expertise from being specialists in funding business start-ups, to supporting it at every step, and providing real life experiences from the perspective of an experienced, growing entrepreneur. They will be happy to answer questions from current/future/past students and external public members.
This 80-minute panel will take place Tuesday, March 16 at 4:00 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. Please register to attend the event, as well as submit any questions you may have for the panelists.
$25 gift cards to local businesses will be shared in a draw for anyone who submits questions for our panelists, either during the panel or through the registration form.
