RDC JumpStart!

RDC's School of Arts and Sciences is pleased to offer the JumpStart! program. JumpStart! allows current high school students to take university-level courses that will count for credit towards RDC programs.

Class tuition is free for Jumpstart students, and only the cost of parking and course materials are not covered by RDC.

More information on Jumpstart for Fall 2020 will be available soon! Below are examples of courses that have been available to students in the past.

Eligibilty and Rules for Program:

- Students who are currently enrolled in high school and have not graduated (Grade 13 students may not be eligible)

- Must be Canadian resident

- Students can only take 1 course per term, and a maximum of 2 courses overall

- Students must present written permission from their High School, allowing them to enroll in the program (either from a Principal, Vice-Principal, or Counselor)

- Online courses are not eligible for the JumpStart program; students must attend courses in person.

If the Jumpstart class that you're interested in is being offered during the evening, you can have a Commissionaire walk you to your vehicle before and after class. Either visit or call (403 342 3445) the Security Centre Desk to request a Safewalk! Click here for more details.
