Residence Application - Apprentice Students Only
Please note, that before registering for Residence you must be registered in your Apprenticeship course.
In February and March of 2019, Red Deer and central Alberta will welcome the nation for the 2019 Canada Winter Games (Jeux d'hiver du Canada 2019). Red Deer College will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful staging and presentation of this major national event, including as home to the Athletes’ Village. It is important to note that it will not be business as usual for Apprenticeship students requiring housing during this period. RDC recognizes the effect and opportunities the Games will have for our students. For that reason, we are providing early notice and assistance as you plan accommodations for next year.
Housing applications will not be accepted for Apprenticeship students taking courses from January – March 4, 2019. If you require housing for this period we recommend viewing the Students' Association of Red Deer College Off Campus Housing Directory for your housing needs.
We are making every effort to accommodate Apprenticeship students wishing to live in RDC Residence who start classes on March 4, 2019. If you apply to live in Residence for March 4, 2019, please note that the earliest we are currently able to have you move into a Residence Apprentice Unit will be March 6, 2019. If accommodations open up prior to March 6 we will make every effort to move you in early, however, this cannot be guaranteed.
If you are interested in living in Residence starting March 4, 2019, please call our office at 403.342.3257 to discuss.
