Academic Advisors are here to ensure you meet the educational goals you have set out to achieve. We understand that this process can be confusing and are happy to assist you with program planning, registration, graduation requirements, and much more. 

Academic Support offers a full range of services, including peer tutoring and study resources to help our students achieve their full potential. 

The RDC Kings and Queens athletic teams compete in eight sports at the varsity level. Whether you're an athlete or a sports fan, with RDC Athletics, you're in the presence of royalty! 

Campus Recreation provides a variety of services to help you make the most of your College experience outside of classes. With locations at both our main and downtown campuses (we call them The Living Room), it’s easy to drop your books and drop into our local student hangout. Watch Netflix, play video games, meet new friends, register for intramurals and much more.

Campus Security protects your safety at RDC. Our friendly security team is on duty 24 hours per day and is happy to assist with a variety of services including lost and found, Safe Walk, and much more.

Stop by RDC's Campus Store and The Pulse for textbooks, course materials, supplies, technology as well as RDC apparel and accessories. Shopping can be done in person or skip the line and shop online.

RDC's Cashier's Office manages iCardsparking, student billing accounts and accepts payments for tuition and fees. View your eBill, make payments/set up a payment plan and apply for a parking pass through your Loop account.  

RDC offers a licensed child care facility as well as a kindergarten program that’s warm, secure, fun, stimulating and just minutes away from mom or dad.

The Counselling & Career Centre assists students with a range of services including personal and career counselling, career and employment services and personal skill development.

Disability Resources is committed to advocating for an accessible learning environment for all our students at RDC. Prospective and current students with documented disabilities affecting mobility, learning, and physical or mental health can register to access resources and accommodations needed to achieve their learning outcomes. 

RDC's Fitness Centre is a 30,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility offering something for every skill level or fitness goal. The facility, located in the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre, includes a 200m track, squash courts, cardio zones, stretch areas, Olympic platforms, spin zone, high performance equipment and a variety of fitness classes. The Canada Games Centre also houses an ice arena and performance gymnasium, which are home to our RDC Kings and Queens. Both students and community members are welcome to access this spectacular facility.

The Flexible Learning team can assist you if you are taking an online, blended or off-campus program. Flexible Learning can provide information on your program, register you in courses, help you apply for off-campus testing as well as guide you on how to use technologies in your online courses.

Our on-campus Health, Safety and Wellness Centre provides services for all our students to access a variety of confidential medical and nursing services. 

Indigenous Student Services helps facilitate social, academic and cultural supports for First Nations, Métis, Inuit and Non-Status learners.

RDC's IT Services provides access to free Wi-fi in all our facilities. Visit the IT Support website for self-service documents, student help, Office 365 help and to learn more about what IT Services does.

The Library Information Common is a combined study and social area. Students have access to half a million print and e-books and other items such as laptops and equipment, as well as a variety of individual work spaces, group study rooms and a quiet zone. The Library is also home to RDC's Makerspace, a place to learn through exploration, innovation and creation. Makerspace equipment includes a laser machine, Cricut Explore Air, button maker, a studio with sound equipment and a green screen, 3D printers and technicians to assist you with your projects.

The Office of the Registrar processes applications for admission, change of programs, course add/drops, withdrawals, and much more. 

The Print Centre provides a variety of print services to students, staff and the community to ensure papers, assignments and class projects look their best.
If you have previously completed post-secondary courses at another institution and you would like to receive credit for these courses, you must apply for recognition of prior learning
Are you planning to live on campus? Residence offers a variety of accommodations and is a great place to call home.

The Serenity Zone, located on the second floor of main campus (Room 2400), is a quiet place for students, staff, instructors and visitors to visit. Groups and individuals are invited to utilize this space for prayer, meditation and quiet reflection.

The Student Ambassador Leadership Program is for anyone interested in developing their personal and professional leadership skills. This program fosters leadership, community mindedness and volunteerism among RDC students.

The Students’ Association of Red Deer College advocates for all RDC students. They offer a number of programs and services including student-rate bus passes, a health and dental plan and a student food bank. Additionally, they run both The Lift and the FarSide Bar & Grill which deliver quality food services, essential products and on-campus student space. The SA also offers numerous opportunities to get involved, volunteer and experience all that RDC has to offer, including a number of student groups for a variety of programs and interest areas. The Student Connect Centre is your one-stop-shop for program information, general advising, funding, awards and records. 

Testing Services provides internal exam administration and invigilation services in a variety of areas, including RDC entrance and challenge tests, supervised exam administration for apprenticeship students, testing services for students with accommodations, and drop-in exams. As well, Testing Services also provides administration and invigilation services for deferred and supplemental exams.
