Making it My Own - Ceramic Workshop - Meira Mathison

This course is for students searching for their own voice in their work. There are so many components in working with clay–the technique of building a quality form, glaze, texture, decoration plus the individuality of your work. Explore the modification of forms, decorative elements such as cutting, stamping, paddling and colored additions, thick slips. Class and individual discussion and critiques help to make pots that are meaningful to the individual maker’s needs with an emphasis on function and aesthetics.
