Murder, mayhem and devilish fun! Work with a collaborative group to explore the popular genre of mystery movies using techniques from the film industry to power up your filmmaking skills. Directors, producers, editors, cinematographers and many more all work as team in the creative and adventurous world of filmmaking. With an industry as dynamic as filmmaking anyone who has vision and a passion for storytelling will find a position that matches their skills and goals. Learn practical, hands-on essentials in acting, directing, camera, lighting, sound and editing using professional equipment & facilities. This camp offers a great opportunity to work with professionals in the film industry!
The theme for this year’s camp is”Who Done It?” with murder, mayhem and devilish fun. Explore the always-popular mystery genre of movies. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to work with a collaborative group to produce a unique mystery short film. Focus on your unique story using techniques from the film industry to power up your filmmaking skills.
o Practical, hands-on essentials in acting, directing, camera, lighting, sound, editing
o Professional equipment & facilities – 4K-camera package; 5.1 sound mixing post-facility, sound stage
o Work with professionals in the film industry
o Learn about career opportunities and the business of movie making
o Advanced storytelling skills in a creative team environment
