You are an RDC Alum if you:
- Completed 30 credits at RDC (typically 10 classes per year)
- Finished a trades program or completed a portion of it at RDC
- Started your degree at RDC (even if you finished it by transferring)

We are immensely proud of our alumni. We’re pleased to present two annual alumni awards that celebrate these achievements and the lasting impact our alumni have on our community.
Each year, the RDC Alumni Association acknowledges a Distinguished Alum who has established themselves academically, professionally and/or in community service. The Alumni Legacy Award commemorates the community contributions of alumni who have passed away.

There are many ways that the RDC Alumni Association and Red Deer College can support you. We are a strong community and, with more than 70,000 former RDC students, we have the potential to build an even stronger network. Stay connected, and learn more about the ways we can support each other.
The RDC Alumni Book Club is a private book club hosted on the Goodreads platform, a free social network for booklovers. Complete this registration form using the email address associated with your Goodreads user account and we will email you an invitation. If you do not have a user account, you will need to create one. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive your invitation.
The RDC Alumni Business Directory will host information from alumni businesses, providing opportunities for alumni to connect with and support each other professionally. The directory will also help you find other RDC Alumni professionals outside of central Alberta.

A group of graduates established the RDC Alumni Association in 1988 to assist students and help alumni and new graduates stay connected to the College. The RDCAA is governed by a volunteer executive, which is dedicated to:
- Promoting academic excellence
- Maintaining an informed, interested and committed alumni
- Furthering the friendships and associations made while attending RDC
- Ensuring that RDC continues to play an integral role in central Alberta
