RDC School of Creative Arts Showtime Season

Red Deer College invites central Albertans to join the School of Creative Arts as creativity comes to life through captivating performances, concerts and screenings. RDC’s talented students, instructors, staff and special guests will present the following events in April and May 2019:

The Final Take Off
Students of RDC’s music, film, visual art, animation and theatre programs will show the world through song and story. Pack your bags for an all-expenses paid tour of the creative arts.
April 5 | 7:00 p.m. | Welikoklad Event Centre | Free

Symphonic Winds  
Join Red Deer College’s Symphonic Winds as they perform the final concert of the season. Come and explore as these talented musicians present an eclectic collection of songs and dances from various regions of the world. Ranging from Cajun folk songs to the ancient dances of the Mediterranean, there will be something for every member of the community.

Student Animation & Film Showcase
The audience will view project work from those individuals completing their third year of the College’s Bachelor of Applied Motion Picture Arts program, as well as projects from students who are completing the first year of their studies in RDC’s Bachelor of Applied Arts in Animation & Visual Effects program.

Motion Picture Arts 4th Year Student Film Showcase
Join us to celebrate the achievements of our graduating Bachelor of Applied Motion Picture Arts students. Watch the growth of our students as they present a variety of completed films.
