News Update

Red Deer College continues to keep the community informed about our adaptable response to COVID-19.

Here are today’s updates:

Students’ Association: Lockers and Hours

  • Students who have rented lockers can return their locks to the Students’ Association (SA) office no later than June 30 to receive a $10 refund (as per normal practice).
  • Students with lockers in the 2400 Wing should return their locks to the SA no later than March 31, as previously planned renovations will begin in that area in April, and access won’t be possible to the 2400 Wing.
  • RDC’s Students’ Association is open with reduced hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, until further notice.

Red Deer College’s campuses remain open, with altered and limited services in many areas. If you are attending RDC’s main campus for any reason, please park in Lots C or Public West and enter through the main entrance, as all other entrances are now closed.

Travel for College Business

  • Effective immediately, all interprovincial College-related travel (for professional development or otherwise) is not permitted. This is in addition to RDC’s previous decision to suspend all international travel for employees and students. This decision will be in effect until June 30, 2020, unless the COVID-19 situation improves sooner, at which point an update to this decision will be provided.
