Human Resources

RDC’s Human Resources Division is a professional team of trusted advisors who are dedicated to the highest quality of customer service for our faculty, staff and students. We are respectful and caring, promoting a healthy post-secondary learning environment where everyone flourishes.

Human Resources supports our President & CEO to ensure that the College has working conditions that are fair, dignified, and safe. We also ensure that RDC is in compliance with employment standards, legislation, negotiated standards and collective agreements.

Red Deer College employs more than 1,300 instructors and staff who are committed to delivering high quality programs and services to our learners and communities. We’re proud to offer more than 100 different programs, housed in seven Schools, including certifications in: degrees, certificates, diplomas, graduate certificates and apprenticeships.

Located in the heart of central Alberta, halfway between Edmonton and Calgary, RDC is first and foremost a teaching institution. The College has three vibrant locations located in Red Deer. These locations are: our main campus, our downtown campus (home of RDC’s Donald School of Business) and the Welikoklad Event Centre.

We take a practical, hands-on approach to both education and research ensuring our staff and instructors, who are experts in their field, have a chance to connect with our students, their craft and their communities. We all work hard to help prepare our students for successful lives and meaningful careers.

RDC’s culture and environment are based on living our values: exploration, inclusiveness, excellence, integrity, community and accountability, all contributing to meeting the learning needs of our students.
