As Red Deer College enters its 57th academic year, I sincerely welcome all new and returning students who have made the important decision to join us.

While the halls of RDC are quieter than usual this Fall Term due to COVID-19 pandemic precautions, instructors and staff are prepared, and as excited as ever, to connect with students and to create a positive online learning experience.

Red Deer College Visual Art instructor, Trudy Golley, is an official member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC), which is the principal organization representing the interests of ceramists worldwide. 

RDC is part of Alberta’s 11 Comprehensive Community Colleges (CCCs), which are working together to find innovative ways to support Alberta's economic recovery during these unique times.

This new website will continue to be filled with information about RDC's programs, services and other details to help ensure our students and other members of the College's community have the information they need about the College. 

Throughout July and August, Red Deer College will be providing free Outdoor Physical Literacy Camps for six to12 year-old children whose families have been impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Government is giving Red Deer College an additional $5 million for capital maintenance and renewal, creating dozens of new jobs in the community.
