You may also be interested in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Instrumentation Engineering Technology.

You will:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a broad spectrum of electrical systems
  • Implement the principles of applied science and mathematics
  • Plan and apply SCADA, HMI, and robotic systems and associated industrial networking protocols
  • Acquire, analyze, and disseminate theory, processes and data
  • Apply and demonstrate project management principles to create and implement capstone engineering projects

Graduates from the EET diploma are qualified to apply for Electrical Engineering Technologist  positions.  Electrical Engineering Technologists find long-term, rewarding careers in many areas including:

The Electrical Engineering Technology diploma is based on National Technology Benchmarks, and equips the graduate with knowledge and skills highly sought after in industry. When coupled with industry experience, they also will lead to the Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) and Professional Technologist - Engineering (P.Tech.(Eng)) designations through the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) .
