Welder

 Welders join or sever metals.  They also make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment.

The Welder apprenticeship program is 3 years with 1560 hours of on-the-job training and 8 weeks of RDC technical training each year. 

1st year apprentices

If you are a 1st year Apprentice, you need to be registered with Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) prior to applying at Red Deer College.  More information on becoming an apprentice.
