Sprinkler Systems Installer

Sprinkler Systems Installers fabricate, install, test, maintain, inspect and repair sprinkler systems on commercial and industrial sites.
 

The Sprinkler System Installer apprenticeship program is 4 years with 1600 hours of on-the-job training and 8 weeks of RDC technical training in each of the first three years and 1800 hours of on-the-job training in year four.  There is no technical training required for the fourth year of the apprenticeship.

1st Year Apprentices

If you are a 1st year Apprentice, you need to be registered with Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) prior to applying at Red Deer College. Also, you need to be employed for a certain number of hours prior to you attending your first year technical training at RDC.  More information on becoming an apprentice can be found here.
