Parts Technician

Parts Technicians manage and dispense parts inventories.  They may also be responsible for stock handling, identifying and cataloguing parts and assemblies as well as ordering, receiving, inspecting, sorting, pricing and selling.
 

The Parts Technician apprenticeship program is 3 years with 1500 hours of on-the-job training and 6 weeks of RDC technical training in first and third year and 8 weeks of technical traning in the second year.  

1st Year Apprentices

If you are a 1st year Apprentice, you need to be registered with Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) prior to applying at Red Deer College. More information on becoming an apprentice.
