Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

RDC has updated the name of the Millwright program and it is now referred to as the Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) program.
 
Industrial Mechanics (Millwrights) install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
 
The Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) apprenticeship program is 4 years with 1560 hours of on-the-job training and 8 weeks of RDC technical training each year.  

1st Year Apprentices

If you are a 1st year Apprentice, you need to be registered with Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) prior to applying at Red Deer College. Information on becoming an apprentice.

August 27, 2018 - October 19, 2018

2nd Period
October 22, 2018 - December 14, 2018

3rd Period
January 2, 2019 - February 27, 2019

4th Period
March 4, 2019 - April 26, 2019
