Electrician

Electricians install, alter, repair and maintain electrical systems.

The Electrician apprenticeship program is 4 years with 1500 hours of on-the-job training and 8 weeks of RDC technical training in each of the first three years and 1350 hours of on-the-job training and 12 weeks of RDC technical traning in the fourth year.  

1st Year Apprentices

If you are a 1st year Apprentice, you need to be registered with Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) prior to applying at Red Deer College. More information on becoming an apprentice can be found here.
