Apprenticeship: RDC important details
Money: A breakdown of costs for apprenticeship intakes are available on each program's webpage. A general cost breakdown can also be found here. Please refer to apprenticeship funding for more information about funding options.
Employment Insurance (EI): You can apply for EI before you have your first day of classes by going to Employment Insurance and we strongly encourage you to do so. The wait time varies but it can take 7-8 weeks before you receive your first payment from EI. Please note that the only thing you will receive from RDC is your access code for Apprentices, but you can get this from AIT prior to you starting class.
Residence: Apprenticeship students are eligible for residence. Check out the information and see if it's a good fit for you.

Books: Every apprenticeship student must buy their Individual Learning Modules (ILM) from the Bookstore. Please be aware that line-ups on the first day of classes are extremely long!!! You are strongly encouraged to get your ILM's prior to the first day of class.
