Backpacks to Briefcases is a professional development conference for all RDC students, filled with valuable information designed to help you successfully take the next step from the classroom to the workplace. Professionals, including Red Deer College alumni, will reflect on their expertise and share information on how to get hired, professionalism and how to dress for success in the workforce, social media, entrepreneurship, mentorship, volunteering, and more!

Mindfulness and Self-Compassion: Personal and Interpersonal Benefits

Participants will be introduced to mindfulness, discuss diverse personal and interpersonal benefits of consistent mindfulness practice, and have an opportunity to practice.
