Cooking Camps

Take the fear and mystery from cooking and gain confidence as you learn to cook in a safe environment that will encourage both discovery and creativity. Our highly trained chefs will ensure you get a hands-on learning experience that will develop a life-long love for culinary arts. Each day will include food handling, preparation and safety in the kitchen while introducing cooking techniques with amazing results. With a balance of fun and learning, our “junior chefs” will engage in cooking, learning healthy eating habits and using new skills to create their own dishes. Activities will involve working in groups of two. Our combo camps involve a half-day in the kitchen (your choice of cooking or baking) and a half-day participating in organized recreation or sports activities.

  • Measuring & seasoning
  • Techniques in both baking and cooking
  • Presentation/plating
  • Table setting
  • Manners/etiquette

July 30-August 3: Junior Chefs: Baking & Recreation (age 9-11)

August 7-10: Junior Chefs: The Basics & Recreation (age 9-11)

August 13-17: Junior Chefs: Next Steps (age 12-14)

 

Registration will open on December 15th and brochures will be mailed in early February.
