Pre-Employment Plumbing

Plumbers plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls. They work with piping systems that are used to transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids. On typical construction jobs, plumbers do the roughing in after the frame and roof of a new building are in place. They also do the finishing work such as installing sinks, tubs and toilets. The Pre-employment Plumbing program covers all course materials received by a first year apprentice, plus additional hands-on skills, safety training, and employability skills.
