Be Fit For Life Centre
Central Alberta's Be Fit For Life Centre is located in the heart of the Red Deer College campus. We provide fitness services, programs, activities and information designed to encourage and support healthy lifestyles.
Albertans living active, healthy lifestyles.
The Alberta Be Fit For Life Network strives to be leaders in enabling self-responsibility among Albertans to be physically active where they live, work and play.
We are one of nine on-campus Centres within the Be Fit For Life Network. Each Be Fit For Life Centre develops local and regional partnerships based on the needs and wants of the community. The Centres are funded by the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation. We are an active member of the Alberta Active Living Partners, a group of 14 organizations that collaborate through programs, services, research and advocacy to help Albertans be physically active.
Our dedicated staff at the RDC Be Fit For Life Centre will work with you to find a program that fits your needs and resources, whether at your school, place of business or right here on-campus. We offer a variety of continually evolving programs and services including youth sports, adult fitness classes, fitness assessments, personal training, nutrition programs, coaching certification and fitness leadership training.
On May 12, 2016 we will be hosting the 13th annual Go Girl. This one-day event for all Grade Five girls in the public and Catholic school systems of Red Deer aims to expose girls at a young age to a variety of group and individual physical activities. We hope to inspire all the participants to lead active and healthy lifestyles in their middle school and high school years.
The Be Fit For Life Centre hosts a variety of events and presentations throughout the year to promote physical literacy and healthy living. Check back here often for updates.
