School of Creative Arts - December events

Red Deer College invites central Albertans to come and experience the exciting School of Creative Arts season. RDC’s talented students, instructors, staff and special guests will present the following events throughout the month of December:

Thursday Live Concert
December 1 | Mainstage, Arts Centre | 1:00 pm
From classical to contemporary, these variety shows of music student performances are a great way to spend your lunch hour. All funds raised go to different local charities throughout the year.

Movies Worth Watching Series
The People vs. George Lucas
December 8 & 10 | Welikoklad Event Centre Cinema | 7:00 pm

The Motion Picture Arts program is pleased to present movie nights on the big screen. This movie gives disgruntled Star Wars fans a chance to vent their frustrations about the direction the franchise has taken over the years. The film is a great way to lead up to the new Star Wars movie coming out December 16. Thursday screenings are licensed events for adults only, with alcoholic beverages available; Saturday screenings are for all audiences.

Sounds of the Season Music Concert
