RDC recognized with nine awards for outstanding marketing and communications efforts

RDC receives nine NCMPR awards

Red Deer College has been recognized for its excellence in marketing and communications initiatives, receiving nine awards at the recent National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) District 7 Conference. 

RDC won five gold medallions for: Notebook, Red Deer College’s alumni magazine, Summer Camps brochure, Convocation program, “Cheer on Your Kings and Queens” Athletics video and The Decision (RDC’s University Journey announcement) campaign.

Red Deer College added three silver medallions for the RDC State of the College publication, Athletics Queens Hockey Championship radio ad and RDC Reasons recruitment marketing campaign.

Also, bronze was earned for the Bachelor of Applied Arts in Animation and Visual Effects recruitment video.

The NCMPR Medallion Awards recognize excellence in marketing and communications at the district level. RDC is a proud member of NCMPR. The NCMPR District 7 is comprised of post-secondary institutions from the following geographic areas: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Yukon Territory.

The nine awards that RDC received were presented October 11 at the annual NCMPR District 7 conference, held this year in Boise, Idaho.
