Creating RDC’s New Centre

The planning, design and construction of RDC’s Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre took place over many years and involved thousands of people. The first site work for the Centre began in the fall of 2015, and substantial completion for construction was reached on June 19, 2018. For a look back at the development of the building, including videos, photos and construction details, visit the Construction History section of our website.
