As a mature 50-year-old institution, RDC is effectively looking at the way we operate – both for the needs of the learners and industry. The development of RDC hinges on significant investment from government, as well as major commitments from community partners, corporations, foundations and individual donors and philanthropists.
On the right-hand sidebar, you will notice several different links for various Centres of Excellence. These facilities allow us to create the caliber of learning we provide at RDC.
In order to meet the growing needs of central Alberta, RDC has adopted a new School structure, effective summer 2014. This organizational change will allow RDC leadership to create new synergies within programs and continue our transition into degree granting status. The School model provides the framework to advance our learner-centred evolution and increase our ability to be known for our academic reputation, both provincially and nationally.
The School structure at RDC will encompass seven different schools:
School of Arts & Sciences
School of Creative Arts
Donald School of Business
School of Education
School of Health Sciences
School of Trades and Technologies
School of Continuing Education
“RDC is the perfect blend of small town and urban metropolis. The instructors strive for academic excellence and their athletic program is outstanding. My experience at RDC has been invaluable.” ~ Devin Woodland | Bachelor of Science, CCAA Cross Country Running Gold Medalist
