Biography

Lindsay Engel holds the role of Vice President, Academic & Student Experience. She joined Red Deer Polytechnic in August 2023.

Ms. Engel brings extensive experience to the position having served in instructing, academic and research leadership roles at Sheridan, Fanshawe, and George Brown College. She has led the development of several new programs and development of new program areas, college-industry research partnerships, learner pathway initiatives and co-op opportunities for students. 

Ms. Engel is completing her PhD in Applied Sciences at Brock University and brings a comprehensive background in research, data analysis, strategy and process improvement within the post-secondary, municipal and health sectors.
